John Robert Scott son of James Edward Scott of Anngrove, county laois and his wife Jane. John married Elizabeth Glison and they lived in Stevens Green Dublin. He was responsible for many fine Georgian houses built in Harcourt Street, Dublin. Also at one stage ran the salt Works on the Liffey.
