Good Evening,
I'm wondering if anyone can offer any advice or assistance with searching for my ancestors.
I have found details relating to the man I believe to be my 3rd great grandfather being baptised in 1835 with his parents showing as Martin Comber & Mary Nolan.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
Kind regards
Gary Comer

Hi Patricia,
Thank you for coming back to me.
The information i have shows Michael being the son of Martin Comber & Bridget Crane & him baptised in 1835 (Clonfert, New Inn).
From discussion within my family we have always believed that our ancestors were from Sligo. This probably stems from the 1851 census we have for Liverpool, stating that Michael was from Sligo. It's all getting a bit confusing now, any help or advice would be appreciated.
Kind regards
Gary

Gary, Have a look at RootsIreland or FindMyPast; you might find some of this family in their records. Good luck!

Hi Gary,
I have Comer ancestors from Galway. They were from a Village named cloughbrack in Connemara. Not sure if that is a common name, but I thought I would offer that up. My great great grandparents were JOhn Walsh and Mary Comer Walsh. Mary Comer had 5 or 6 brothers also from that village.
