When you look at James's birth record on Irishgenealogy, it appears he was baptized before he was born--which is, of course, impossible. The birth register says he was born 11 Oct. and that the birth was registered Nov. 10. What likely happened is this: He was born on Sept. 14 or a few days before. But the parents did not register the birth within the prescribed time, which meant they would have to pay a fine. So they simply lied about his birth date.
