I am attemtping to find out any information about Dr. John Lanigan (1758 - 1828).

John Lanigan was a Doctor of Divinity studying at the Irish College in Roame and receiving his Doctor of Divinity from the University of Pavia, northin Italy in 1794.

Napoleaon sacked Pavia in 1796 and Dr. John Lanigan returned to Ireland and passed away in 8 July 1825 in Dublin.

John was the eldest of 16 children to Thomas Lanigan and Mary Ann Dorkan and was born in Cashel, Tipperary.

Most information comes from Wikipedia and a book on his life by William John Fitpatrick "The Wits and Worthies

I have the names of five of his siblings but no other details.

Anne Lanigan (youngest, married name Kennedy died 30/10/1860);

Catherine Lanigan

Hobanna Lanigan

James Lanigan

Mary Lanigan

Wondering if there are no records of this family whether ther may be other historical documents that may exist about the family, or any way of being able to find out more about his family.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

  • As such, do not worry about giving your bank details to this debt collection agency. Your insurance company are generally responsible for paying all costs as long as you have been honest on the proposal forms, also you can visit https://www.essayontime.co.uk/term-paper/ site for quality term papers and if they are acting against you they need your permission to do so or they will be acting illegally and I would not entertain them at all.
