Denis McCarthy emigrated to Melbourne,Australia in 1841.The ship's records say he was from Tipperary , aged 20,.a labourer and RC.

His death record says his parents were Michael McMarthy and Mary Burns..

I know nothing more about him.Can any one help me?

He had a very successful life and when he died he owned a hotel., shop and 2 houses.His home was named "Kilburn" if that is relevant,
