Lynch's in Spiddal

Hi Denise,

A "Henry Lynch" is shown in records on June 30th 1861 in the townland of Aille, Inveran, Civil Parish of Killannin.

On May 28th 1886 he found by Constable Archibald Sisk of having an unlicensed dog at the same address.

No record found in Griffith's Land Valuation 1850's.

Hi Denise, Sorry I do not have information on the Lynch family.  I believe that my gg-grandmother, Rosanna Dillon (born 1829), was from the Spiddal area.  She was the daughter of John Dillon and Mary ? and is one of my challenge ancestors.  She immigrated to NYC around 1850.  Have you taken a DNA test through Ancestry.com.  I'm curious to know if we are distant cousins.

The earliest record I have for Rosanna is her 1851 marriage to my gg-grandfather James F. Doyle in NYC.  I have no Irish records for her or her siblings.  I was not able to find American records for her siblings.  I wonder if her family immigrated to Australia.  I had a third to 5th cousin DNA hit with a Dillon who's family is from the Spiddal area.
