Hello All,

I am looking for the marriage of the Patrick Hughes and Mary Burke which I believe took place around or in Ballinrobe around the late 1870`s.

I have tried all the usual websites but as of yet I cannot find this record.

I am also looking for the birth record for Patrick c.1852 in Castlegrove but again cannot seem to locate it.

The family are living in Ballinrobe from 1879 on and I have them on both the 1901/1911 census

    I also was unable to find the marriage record. I saw their son Patrick's baptismal record in March 1879 in Ballinrobe but searches of the subscription site Roots Ireland (for all of Ireland) plus www.irishgenealogy.ie came up empty. The 1911 census indicates a marriage around 1875-1876.  I also scanned the Ballinrobe marriage register from 1875-1880 with no success.

    Thank you very much for your time and effort today.

    This has been a brickwall of mine for a few years now and I just dont seem to be able to break it down.

    Castlegrove is what appears to be a small village near Kilcolny  just over the border in Co.Galway where we believe the family came from prior to Ballinrobe, But again I appear to be unable to locate any records to help my research.
