Hello, I visiting Castlefin and it's surrounding area from 31s July 2020 for one week. Would love any help/guidance to get the most out of my visit. My descendants were Vitue's and Crawford's in the mid 1800's

Hello Ruth, you query has not got a reply so we may not have a volunteer there, the name you gave as Vitue appears to be Virtue when I search on Roots Ireland a subscription site, was just interested as an unusual name. There are a number of private Facebook pages on Donegal History and Donegal genealogy and a Forum, you could apply to join to see if there is any info, I am not on them but am on others and they are all very well moderated.
I will contact our volunteer co ordinator to see if there is one there and revert if I get any positive feedback.
Enjoy your visit.

My mistake - a typo. It is indeed Virtue, Thomas Virtue born 1883 in Sessiagh Long I believe Thomas married Margaret Ann Crawford in 1861 at Donaghmore Presbyterian Church I have already joined The Castlefin Historic Society FB group but if there are more groups around I will certainly join them if I come across them
