I am searching for the birth place of my 3x ggrandfather and mother in Cavan. And if they had a son names Terence.

My 3rd great grandfather Michael McGrath lived in Corrakeeldrum with his wife Rose Halpin. They married in Kingscourt Cavan on October 3, 1843. He had five or six children that I know of all born in Kingscourt, Cavan (Mary, Patrick, Peter, Margaret, Thomas and maybe Terence).

He death was listed in Enniskillen, Holywell District in "Carrickeeldrum" on July 7, 1901 at the age of 88.

In the 1901 Census of Ireland it says he was  living with his wife Rose and his son Peters family and that he was born in County Cavan but I cannot find any record of his birth.

Rose Halpin died March 3, 1905 at the age of 89 in Enniskillen, District of Holywell, County of Cavan. I do not have a record of birth for Rose but from various sources I believe she was born in 1816

    Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

I searched on the subscription site Roots Ireland and can only locate baptismal records for four children: Mary 1844 Patt 1846 Margret 1851 Thomas 1853. Could not locate Peter or Terence. You may want to scan the parish register to see if you can locate their records. https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0934

The Kingscourt baptismal records start in 1838 so you will not be able to locate a record for Thomas or Rose if they were baptized in that parish. I checked the rest of Co. Cavan and there were no records for a Michael McGrath or Rose Halpin back to the 1820s or earlier.
