Hello my mother Catherine Murphy was born in Oldcastle her parents were Patrick and Winnie and I have made contact with most of our first cousins who live in the UK I am now working on the family tree and would love to make contact with extended family living in Ireland.

Hello Maureen, we do not as a rule search for living people but your query may be seen by someone, could I suggest you try joining some of the Mayo Genealogy Groups on Facebook, these are private groups which you apply to join. There is a Mayo Genealogy Group and a Galway Mayo one too, also a Mayo DNA group, most counties appear to have a few and indeed there are neweer ones coming that are even on parts of a county.
I find these groups aer well moderated and friendly, any nonsense is usually a reason to be excluded, those joining are also interested themselves.
