I am looking for information on Anthony Kilbane born between 1821-1886 in Achill, Ireland. He migrated to America. His father was Bernard Kilbane and his mother was Celia McBain.

Trish:
Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
Can you clarify when Anthony was born? Achill Island RC baptismal records start in 1868 so if your Anthony was born in the 1820s, records will not be available.

Hi Trish,
I see you've been very busy with your Irish genealogy!
I searched www.rootsireland.ie/ for Anthony's birth/baptism & the parents' marriage but had no luck I'm afraid.
The Tithe Applotments (free at http://titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie/) have two Kilbanes in Achill in 1828: Pat in Sala & Owen at Achillbeg
No luck in the 1821 Irish Census - no Kilbanes in any of the 11 counties listed including Mayo
Griffiths Valuation Free at http://www.askaboutireland.ie/ has 86 Kilbanes - all in Achill in 1855. Anthony is there twice but no Bernard or Celia

This is the only record of Bernard Kilbane on roots I'm afraid:
