My Great great grandparents were Peter McNally and Catherine O'Neal (spellings maybe a little different).
They were married in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, England on 24th November 1854.
There ages were registered as Peter 23yrs and Catherine as 22yrs.
Peter's father is Walter McNally (deceased).
Catherine's father as John O'Neal (deseased).
The UK 1861 census shows both of them as having been born in Ireland.
The UK 1871 census shows Catherine as being widowed and also that she was born in Mayo, Ireland.
Is there any possibility that their births or baptisms may be found with details of their respective families.
Many thanks.

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
Finding RC church records pre-1850 is problematic because most parishes do not have records that early. I did do a search on the subscription site Roots Ireland and did not find a baptismal reocrd for Catherine or Peter. I searched for all of Ireland for Peter.
I also looked for Walter McNally in the Tithe listings in Mayo but did not find a record.
You may want to add Peter and Catherine's emigration story to our XO Chronicles site and possibly someonew will recognize the family. https://irelandxo.com/ireland-xo/history-and-genealogy/ancestor-database

Can you identify any siblings of Peter and Catherine on an English census? If so, try to follow them forward in the hope that one is specific about origin. Were Peter and Catherine on 1851 census?

The O'Neills were/are most numerous in Ulster, where the clan originated, but they migrated from there to other areas, particularly after the Plantation of Ulster in the 1600's. One branch ended up in eastern County Mayo. There is an O'Neill project headed by Sean O'Neill, whose email address is sean@oneill.ie, and he might be able to help you. Sean and I are distantly related, and his O''Neils come from near Swinford/Swineford in eastern Mayo (parish of Swineford/Kilconduff). As it happens, the parish records there go back further than in most parts of Eastern Mayo, so you might try looking there, at this link: https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0133
