I really don’t know much about her other than she is my ggg-grandmother from Galway. She was born around 1830. In the states she married Thompkins Green. She had her first child in Wisconsin sometime between 1855-1860. Her daughter married my gg-grandfather, Thomas Cleary, from Tipperary.

    I checked the subscription site Roots Ireland and there were no baptismal records in Co. Galway for an Elizabeth McGrath born around 1830. Many RC parishes in Co. Galway particularly in the west do not have records back to 1830.

    There were many Elizabeth McGrath records in other counties. Have you looked for a death record which might show her parents names? Possibly she was not baptized in Co. Galway.
