Isaac Walker was born on 31 March 1822 in Dungannon, Tyrone, the son of Catherine Diamond and John Walker. He married Letitia Peters on 5 June 1843 in Gateshead, Durham. They had nine children in 14 years. He died in 1891 in Durham, Durham, at the age of 69.
