Hi  I am looking for details confirming the following information that I inherited from my dear father.  His GGrandfather was born John Murphy B25/11/1813 Boherlahan Tipperary.  Father James Murphy Mother Catherine Connon .  He married Catherine Cummins on 4/2/1837 and they had three children - Johanna (1838-1841) Catherine (B1840-1899) Richard (B1841-1899) then they immigrated to Australia on board the 'England" in 1841.  They then had another 5 children in Australia.  Can anyone help me please confirm the birth of my John and marriage to Catherine.  I would love to know more about James & his wife Catherine also.  I live in Melbourne, Australia but have a nephew now living with his family in Dublin so I could ask him to visit places etc.  Thanks Janine

    I searched on the subscription site FindMyPast.ie and located the 1813 baptismal record and the 1837 marriage record. See below.
