My 3rd great grandparents Rodger and Rose Connelly were born somewhere in Mayo. Rodger was born in 1794 and Rose was born in 1819. They had emigrated to the US by 1840 where I found them on the census. Their children were all born in the US, names being (in birth order) Mary, Neil, John, Ann, Catherine, Hugh, Rose, Patrick an Anthony. I have no idea where in Mayo they came from but my mother's DNA does come up with Achill Island.  Thank you
