William emigrated to the US in about 1850. he was a widower, or newly married, and was about 50 years of age. Where did he go and what happened to him?Possibly Catherine Joyce died in Kilkenny before he went. Where in Kilkenny?

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I searched on the subscription site Roots Ireland and found six baptismal records in the Templemore RC parish in Co. Tipperary for children of William Fitzpatrick and Catherine Joyce. Possibly this is a different couple but maybe the names might match up. The six children were Elizabeth 1822 Laurence 1825 Mary 1827 Catherine 1830 Bridget 1833 Patrick 1836. I could not locate a marriage record. Copies of the transcriptions of the oldest and youngest child are below. The location where the family lived was shown as Minors which might be a local place name. Templemore RC parish is in the northeast hook of Tipperary near the Co. Laois border.
Let me know if you have any questions.
