My gg grandfather Patrick Bendon was born in Galway around 1825.  He emigrated to the US and settled in Kansas and  married  a woman from Cork.  The only place I have found records of Bindons is in Clarinbridge. I have recently found a possible connection to the surnames Ford/Forde and Burke in Galway and I wonder if anyone familiar with the area can connect the surnames.  Many thanks

    My name is Clare Horgan I am a volunteer for the Claregalway area in Co. Galway. 

    I did a little research on resources available to me. I could not find your Patrick Bendon born in Galway in 1825. I did find Bendon's in other parts, especially in Co. Limerick. May I ask what resource you got your information from that relates to Clarenbridge?
