The Catholic Press, Sydney reporting on the death of Mrs Costelloe of Tuam, Co. Galway 21 Nov 1912.
The Irish Mail brings an account of the death of Mrs. Mary Costelloe, Tuam, Co. Galway, Ireland. The deceased lady was the mother of Rev. Father Peter A. Costelloe, B.A., of Wentworth, N.S.W.
She had attained the fine old age of 73 and up to a couple of years ago was hale and hearty. She was the relict of the late Mr. John Costelloe, Ballygaddy Road, one of the oldest and most respected of Tuam's residents, who died in 1911. The death of the deceased lady, which took place on November 21, was a reflex of the exemplary Christian life she led. The interment took place on November 22, after the Requiem Mass, in the Tuam new cemetery, and comprised several priests and prominent citizens of the cathedral town of Tuam.
Rev Peter A Costelloe was in the Sands Directory for 1916 - Edgeware Rd. Newtown (Sydney)
A Peter A Costelloe b. Abt 1881 travelled from Aust to England in 1926.

Hi Ciotach
Welcome to IrelandXO.
Not sure what information you are seeking. Peter Costello was born 20 Jun 1880 at Ballygaddy, Tuam to John Costello, originally from Killelane, Tuam and Mary Burke who was listed as a servant in High Street at the time of their marriage.

Gerard, Parish Liaison Lackagh

Hi Gerald, I'm not seeking information, just giving it out. This Peter is not one of my Costellos from Tuam, but someone else may be seeking him.
Regards,
Ciotach.
