My great-great-grandmother was Ella Quinn. She was born in County Longford in about 1850. I know she had a sister named Rosaline Quinn. Ella immigrated to Philidelphia, PA, USA and later married Michael F. Brennan. I'm searching for any information regarding her family.

  • Do you have an approximate year of birth for Rosa, was she older or younger than Ella ?

    I found a possible match for the sisters baptisms in Drumlish Catholic parish County Longford as follows (links to registers on NLI website below...) : 

    Eleonoram Quinn baptised 21th August 1847
    Rosa Quinn baptised 4th July 1855

    Both to parents Bartholomei {Bartholomew] Quinn and Anna [Anne] Brady

    The best way to be certain that this is the correct couple would be if you could locate a marriage or death cert in the US for either Rosa or Ella to see if these include the names of their parents.
