Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I checked the 1901 census for Ballymanagh and found John with a younger sister Maria (Mary). I also found the 1911 census record for John but no Maria. I then checked the free siite www.irishgenealogy.ie and found a 1906 marriage record for a Mary Kelly (father Luke Kelly) from Ballymana who married a widower named Thomas Mitchell. I tried to find them in the 1911 census but was unsuccessful.

Hi Rosie
I found a marraige record for a Luke Kelly and Cath Murphy, both from White Hall in the parish of Clontuskert, on 23 Nov 1843, witnessed by John Kelly and Catherine Devaney. I found this on the findmypast free parish records.
Children(that i could find on this website)
Catherine Kelly born 27 Nov 1844 Godparents-Michael Murphy(from Lacken?) and Catherine Kelly
Joanna(possibly Latin for Jane maybe) Kelly born 26 Dec 1849 Godparents-Patrick and Eleanor Kelly
Mary Kelly born 30 Oct 1856 Godparents-Patrick Colahan and Margaret Kelly
Patrick Kelly born born 14 Feb 1861 Godparents-James and Mary Kelly
Hope this helps!

Back again! Luke Kelly appears in Griffiths Valuation in Ballymanagh, renting a 31 acre field from Allan Pollock with a Patrick Kelly(Most likely a brother). Both seem to have a portion of the field which their house is built on. Also in the townland of Ballymanagh was Bridget, James and Hugh Kelly. This would be about 1857.
I cant find any Kellys in Ballymanagh in the Tithe Applotment Books (1820s and 1830s) so perhaps they lived elsewhere or didn't have large enough holdings to pay tithes.

I finally found Mary (Maria) Mitchell. http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Galway/Ahascragh/Adder…; She was living two parishes to the north in Ahascragh civil parish.
One of these two records could be your Maria.
