In the Tithe records a Jno Kelly (as this was his name in the Baptism record) was in a town land called Townfields, Modreeny.

In Griffiths Valuation they were in the same area in 1852, he was using John.

Otley, is not listed in the Tithe records.
Does Alcock Otley ring a bell? His name is in Griffiths valuation as a Landlord in Limerick, in a townland called Uregare, near Kilmallock.   This is where my Grandmaother was from (no relation)
Other Otley's are in County Cavan (Brooke Taylor) and County Westmeath (Harriett)

Let me know about these Otley names and did the Kelly family stay in Ireland or the country they moved to, please.

fathers name was timothy john kelly,he married mary ann  ryan,these people are my great great grandparents,they would have had children ,born in borrisakane tipperary his 2 sons and 2 daughters,came out here  edward came on the  james bain ship he was not a criminal so i guess they must have paid their own fare not sure about timothy and ann their parents . did they come out here? stay in ireland or go to america.any info would be helpful. my maiden name is sharon kelly  mydad was george ,his dad was huey, his dad was maechel and       mary  and           timothy  were maechels parents.
