Patrick Gleeson b abt 1805 d abt 1861 Ireland, m Margaret Kearney b abt1807 d 1883 Gordon, Victoria, Australia (my Gt, Gt, Gt Grandmother.
Patrick aged 56 died abt 1861 in Ireland. Three of their children James born abt 1850 d abt 1861,Margaret b abt1851 d abt1951 and Ellen b abt 1853 d abt 1861 are all thought to have been buried in Nenagh, County Tipperary before Margaret came to Australia on the Donald McKay in 1861. Their eldest child Mary b abt1835 is thought to have married an Ambrose Whittle in 1851 and stayed in Ireland.
Margaret landed in Australia in 1861 with 5 sons and 1 daughter Julia b 1848 (my Gt,Gt Grandmother)
I have the complete family history from Julia through to this date and would love to trace the marriage of Patrick and Margaret, the burial of Patrick and Margarets three children who died in Ireland and the marriage of their daughter Mary. as well asthe births of the other 6 children whose names I have.
I believe all these events occured in Nenagh where according to her marriage certificate she married aged 16 yrs.
A truly remarkable family. Julia married John Mills in 1865 and they had 18 children and then a foster child. Five of their sons served in WW1 with three paying the ultimate price,
I would be most grateful for any help / assistance in locating any information in relation to the Gleasons who died in Ireland and Mary who married abt 1851.Can anybody throw some light on the Gleesons who died and the one who married.
Thank you in anticipation

Hi Michael,
I had a look on www.rootsireland.ie/ but had no luck finding the burials, baptisms or marriage.
I'm wondering if you have tried the R C registers which are free at https://registers.nli.ie/[ there are baptisms for Nenagh 1792-1809 & marriages 1818-40 + others
