Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
There are two Pollawaddy townlands in Co. Mayo. You want the very small Pollawaddy townland (47 acres) in Mayo civil parish. The townland is about 2.2 kilometers south of Mayo Abbey. Use Google Maps.
You may already have the record but below is a transcription of the baptismal record for John. No other records were located for siblings.
I did locate Patrick Meade in the 1855 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Mayo parish. He was in Pollawaddy http://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths/mayo/mayo.htm
I searched for death records for Patrick and Honor with no success. Did they stay in Mayo?

Thanks for your quick reply and forwarding information. John's Baptism is the only record I can find of him in Mayo. It is possible that his parents could of followed him later to Galway when he married Catherine Walsh but since this was during famine times, I'm inclined to think they may have passed away in Mayo but unfortuneately there is no record. I don't think the land in Pollawaddy that Patrick was farming was his...I believe he was a tenant farmer. We are coming to Ireland in September and I hope to find the area where they came from. Thanks again for all your help.

In case you're interested in comparing DNA results, I have ancestors from the parishes of Killedan and Kilcolman, which adjoin Mayo Abbey. My results are on the GEDMATCH site (kit number T780556). I have a family treee you can access for free at Wikitree: https://www.wikitree.com/genealogy/Jewell-Family-Tree-1523
The surnames in my family there include Gallagher, King, Curraby, McNicholas, Mulderig, and Larkin. I've searched the parish records in both parishes extensively, and noticed a number of Burkes who married Gallaghers or were witnesses at their weddings, including these two weddings:
Date Spouses Witnesses
6 Mar 1837 John Gallagher / Mary Walsh Lucas Borne / Margaret Burke
20 Jan 1843 John Gallagher / Sarah Burke Michael Burke/ Andrew Carr

Thanks, Kevin but unfortunately I have not had DNA tested. My parents were born in Ireland so I knew where all my Ancestors came from or so I thought. One of these days I will have to get tested. Cheers!
