I was wondering if there are any records of burials in this Church Cemetery? Looking for any McNerney's who may be buried there.

    Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

Below are some informational links. I did find one McNerney grave in St. Colmcille's cemetery on Findagrave.com (third link). I would contact the Co. Lonford library. It appears from the second link that the library has transcripts.

  • Yes, Eliza "McNerney" Denneny"was the youngest daughter of my 2X Great Grandparents, Patrick McNerney and Anne (nee McGarry) On the 1901 Census (Ireland) it shows Eliza and her husband Owen Denneny living in Anne McNerney's home with their two children, Patrick & Edward. Anne was 84 years old at that time and was listed as the Head of House Hold.. She must have died sometime between the 1901 census & the 1911 census (which she does not appear on) but we are unable to find a death register for her. There is an Anne McNerney listed in the registers but she was only 63 years old when she died in 1904, unless the age was not correct..

Yes, it appears that the family did not register here death. The 1904 Anne was in a different registration district.
