Looking for any information on Catherine Callinan.   She left Ireland for South Australia, using a passport of her cousin, and travelled with her aunt, who was I believe an O’Loughlin.  She had a brother who went to America,   

He r father was Jonny Callinan and her  mother may have been Bridget.

  • Interesting. I have Katherine (Catherine) Callinan married to Michael Callinan  1946 to 1912 and her mother as Ann Boland aka Sheehan. The Catherine (Kate) Callinan 1882 to 1933 married to Michael O'Malley 1869 to 1938. There was a brother Michael Callinan born 1892 and two sisters, Helena and Lizzie. Gets confusing with the same names and name changes. Lol

    Would you have more information about Catherine Callinan such as a date of birth and her cousin's name?  If so, that would be a big help and I can ask one of our Kilshanny volunteers who may be able to assist you.
