Mary Common is listed in four sets of records I've found thus far:
*1830 baptimal record of eldest daughter Bridget, Cappawhite;
*Gortnahoe/Glengoole/New Birmingham for baptisms of Maria 1834, Barbara/Catherine 1841, Anne 1844, Michael 1847 and my ancestor Ellen 1849.
*National School (New Birmingham) application: 1844 (birth listed as 1811 but often our records for birth are off) but didn't get hired until 1847. Her husband is Timothy Ford, teacher at this school.
*1886 Death record, Co. Kilkenny where she was living with daughter Anne at this time.
Query: Where was she born/baptized?
Where/when did she marry Timothy Ford, Teacher (father as listed on Feb. 1830 Cappawhite bap. of daughter 'Bridgt')
I am seeking Timothy place of origin as well as their marriage record. Timothy Ford born about 1798; died 1865, New Birmingham/Urlingford
Many, many thanks from Katy in Oregon

Welcome back to Ireland Reaching Out!
I will alert our parish liaison for Boherlahan Dualla parish that you have posted a message. Let me know if you have not heard back in two weeks or so.

Hi Roger,
I've been to Ireland and back (March) but didn't have a chance go from Glengoole to Boherlahan-Dualla parish.
I don't believe anyone from this parish ever contacted me.
My friend in Glengoole suggested I try Moycarkey/Thurles area because the Commons/Cummins family was well represented there in years gone by...also, they were teachers. When I looked at parish records however, I noticed several pages were missing and pages looked as though they may have been through a fire. Is there anyone in that area I could make contact with?
(I couldn't find Thurles or Moycarkey when I typed these names into the search bar....zero.
Thanks for your help Roger!

Sorry you were not contacted by the parish liaison for Boherlahan but I see that Chritina contacted you on your later message. She is a volunteer in the Tipperary area.
