The children that you mention born to Matthew are listed in the Kilbroney Roman Catholic Registers which have been transcribed on the Roots Ireland database.  The mother's name is listed Ellen McAnvera and Ellen McAuvna.

You might note that there are registers for funerals and deaths in the parish that might be of interest to you.

Graveyard inscriptions may also be of assistance to you.  There is a website that contains some information that may be of use to you.

I searched the Kilbroney area for Furey families in the mid tio late 1800s but can't find any at all. There were a couple of other families in Co Down but they were Presbyterian. You mention that Catherine may have died in 1910. Was that in Ireland? (I can't see a death that matches that in the statutory records).
