I know this based on the Minutes of Common Pleas, Warren County, NY, p. 389: "...John Mills above named being duly sworn doth depose and say that he is of the age of thirty three years [putting his birth date in 1805] that he was born in the Parish of Ballyshehann and County of Tipperary in that part of the Kingdom of Great Britain called Ireland that he embarked at Waterford [Ireland] in the month of July as he believes in the year 1835 and arrived at the city of New York in the State of NY in the month of August and following that he has since resided in the state of New York and county of Warren and still resides there." If you know any information about my great-great-great grandfather John Mills, whose full name is John Rand Mills, in this parish, please let me know. Thanks.

My post is NOT a duplicate message. It is similar to what was posted here: https://www.irelandxo.com/ireland-xo/message-board/john-rand-mills-ball…. But, it is NOT the same. I felt it necessary to post on the same subject on different forums. So to call it a duplicate is an utter lie.

Sorry! Looked the same to me and we have been having problems with our systems generating multiple copies of the same message, Lets wait for the Ballysheehan Parish liaison to respond to your other message.
