I am looking for family ancestry of my 2x great-grandmother, Alicia Kennedy, born to Pat Kennedy & Kitty Kerney, baptized @ Fethard, County Tipperary Cashel & Emly diocese 25 Mar 1850. (Sponsors John Flynn & Judith Downey)
I found possible marriage record for Patrick Kennedy and Catharine Kerney, 24 Feb 1846 Fethard, County Tipperary Cashel & Emly diocese, in the Ireland, Catholic Parish Registers at the NLI, but it is realy hard to read so I may have that wrong.
According to the 1900 US Census record, Alice arrived in the USA 1859, age 9, with her parents. The family shows up in the 1860 census in Boston. Patrick's occupation is listed as hostler.
I also found on Ancestry.com a baptism record shows a Catherine born to Patrick Keherny & Margaret Meagher, baptized @ Fethard, County Tipperary Cashel & Emly diocese 10 Feb 1824.
I am coming to Co. Tipperary in July, and would love any leads on these families, which I could research in advance or when I arrive.
