My ancestors, Patrick Meagher and wife Mary came to Baltimore, Maryland about 1815. Patrick also came again with a five year old child J Meagher in 1820. They had a daughter Margaret and son John with them born in Ireland and then had Joseph in Baltimore in 1813. I believe the J Meagher was the John Meagher. From looking at hundreds of parish records I believe Mary Corbett married Patrick in 1810 in Caher, then they had John in 1811 and then Margaret in 1815. They also had a son Thomas. Is anyone familiar with a Meagher family who married a Mary Corbett in 1810 in Cahir, started a family and then went to Baltimore, Maryland about 1815.

Oh my, you did a very good job, I think a little tooooooooooooo good. You have all the information I had on the marriage of Patrick and Mary Corbett, the birth of John and Marian BUT you discovered a Catherine, born July 1823. That is the problem I was hoping would not happen. in 1818, Patrick and Mary were living in Baltimore, Maryland USA. They had two children in Baltimore after 1818 and the family still lives to this day in Baltimore. So, you did what I was afraid would happen. This Patrick Meagher and Mary are not my ancestors. You would not have found additional children after 1818 for them.
Please continue to look for a Patrick Meagher married to a Mary ???? who had two children between 1810 and 1815, and then they are no longer in Ireland after 1818.
I plan to come to Tipperary to visit and also visit Waterford in August of this year. I hope to meet some Meaghers if you know of any in that area.
