Maggie Geagan born about 1880 to Nicholas and Kate (Queany). She had twin brothers
She's listed in the 1901 census but not in the 1911 one. How do I find out what happened to her? Whether she emigrated, married or died? I'm trying to locate any descendants she may have as her brothers have none. I've been trying for years any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your reply Roger, do you know of anyone in Gort that would be willing to do some research on this for me?

Following because I have a Bridget Gegan in my tree, but born in the 1830s or 1840s, possibly in Beagh, which is where she lived later on and where she was married to Mark Melia/Malley/Mealy. Parents Patrick Geagan and Winifred Healy. I thought something of interest might show up here.

Roger do you know of any amateur genealogist that may be interested in looking at this for me? There is a long and very disturbing story behind this. Finding a descendant of this family is imperative to the care of an elderly vulnerable woman today. Only thing is...access to anything to do with the church records may prove difficult....

You should be able to learn whether Maggie married or died by looking in the civil registrations on irishgenealogy.ie. If she's not there, that suggests she moved away.
