The parish for this baptism is 'Killimore and Tiranascragh', asd as with many parishes this was known by a number of variations - e.g. 'Union of Killimorbologue', 'Killiemore & Turenaschra' etc. The name of the Catolic Parishes often derived from the names of the civil parish or parishes included, but sometimes also include a reference to the location of a chapels, i.e. the name of a town or townland.

In the 1830s the parish had two chapels, one near the village of Kilimor in Killimorebologue civil parish and a second at Longford townland in Tiranascragh civil parish - see : Catholic Parish Union of Killimorbologue.

As far as I can see there is still an active Church as Kilimore, although it appears to be larger than it was in the 1830s, but the Chapel at Longford townland no longer exists, and a newer building appeared across the road before 1900.

The church at Killimor is a little off the main road, but you can see part of the current building on Google Street view

The other chapel at Longford townland was about where this community centre is now. The building was a school in the 1890s, and the main structure could be based on on the old chapel.

Thank you for the speedy replies.  The information is very helpful and will help us to better plan our visit in June.  We will stop by the two sites as well as the ruins of the Old Church.
