Hugh Telford and Henry Matier and Rose Morgan

HI,

I am wondering if anyone can find anything on a Hugh Telford, born about 1792. His mother is possibly a Martin. He is suposedly an heir of Henry Matier. Hugh was probably born in Leitrim, County Down, He was resciding in Leitrim in 1799, possibly living with a John Martin. I am also wondering if there is any information on Rose Morgan, mother of Robert Martin, christened 27 December 1787 Drumgooland Parish, County Down, Is it possible that Rose was baptized into the church as an adult in 1782? There is a Rose recorded in the baptism records, but no parents are listed. Rose's first known son was born in 1783, but I don't have a baptismal record for this. There is also a James Martin, son of John Martin, I don't know James's birthdate, but John is the child referred to above that was born in 1783. Elwyn has looked in the parish registers for me before, but I don't know how deep he looked into Leitrim. 

One more question, Is Matier an older name for Martin? It doesn't appear to be such.
