Iam looking for relations of John or James Milligan-Mulligan Born c 1790 Lack Road,Ederney.His wife was Annie Mosgrove-Musgrove. I have found relations living in same home but they cant go back far enough with there searching to connect us. I live in Australia so have immigration records to conferm that His son -- JOHN MILLIGAN a married free settler,came over in 1841 on the "HELEN". They are Protestants not catholics. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Magheraculmoney’s Church of Ireland records go back to 1767, so you might find reco0rds of baptisms and marriages covering the period you are focusing on. I don’t know if they are on-line anywhere but there is a copy in PRONI (the public record office) in Belfast.

Thanks Elwyn, The relation in Ederney has found some records in Church of Ardess where they married and 1st baby Robert was baptised. But we just cant get that ONE generation back from her line to mine.
