The attached file contains information I have gathered so far on the Kenny-Cahill family of Lough Village. I thought it may be of interest to other of the community. I would be delighted to consolidate the information with other items that you may have, or pursue in new direstions if you have hints on how to proceed.

Hi George
My mother did ask around for any descendants of Lough village (known simply as 'Lough')
Lough Aunaculskey, OS map detail: http://maps.osi.ie/publicviewer/#V2,578809,748740,7,7
The place is defunct now and the only link she could unearth was a descendant of the Mannions who lived there, a female who married an Egan. This is extremely tenuous and bit off the trail for you, but if you want contact details, you can email me; oconnorjohn1957@gmail.com

PS.
This is the Griffiths map where the lough is located as a boggy turlough. Laurence Kenny's farm is plot no. 2 Cornanantamore, right next to it. There is another Kenny in plot no 11 Cornanantabeg, not so far away and in the middle would be my great grandfather's farm in Cornadrum (where my mother was born). His name was Johnnie Dooley b. 1832 to Thomas Dooley. Johnnie was a 'bonesetter' and herbalist (a kind of quack oestiopath, I suppose). So, I imagine that if Lawrence ever slipped a disc, Johnnie would have been the man to send for.
