Can anybody tell me exactly where this would have been in the 1850s? All the documents relating to my ancestor give this as his address. Does the area still exist?

I am not from the area but there is a church marked on the historic map - I can only assume that Church View was (and maybe still is known as) the area around that site. I attach an image from the historic map 1829-41 below to give you an idea. You can see a photo HERE too that provides a link to a street map too.
