Hi there,

I'm having health issues right now, but eventually I'm going to dive back in to my hunt for those two (as well as learning all I can about this area, both as it is now, and as it was then). They bore at least 2 sons and a daugher (Cornelius, Denis, and Mary), who came over to Worcester, Massachusetts (Denis in 1852). We know Denis was born in Killarney, and married Mary Myers in 1862. Denis had Dennis, who had my grandfather John.

I'm not expecting any help in my hunt, but it can't hurt to put it out there. I'm just hoping to meet some peeps and learn about where I come from!

Hope to hear from someone soon!

    Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

www.irishgenealogy.ie is a free Irish government site which has the church records for Co. Kerry. I took a quick look for Denis and Cornelius in the Killarney records with no success. Possibly they were baptized in another church. Hope you get well soon and can check out this site in more detail.

  • Thanks so much! Been there, done that, but I learned something about Irish/Latin name alternatives since then that will send me back there some day when I'm up to it.
