I looked at the tithe applotment records for Moneynabane in 1828 and there’s an Arthur Lunday farming there (probably with two plots of land). Possilbly a relation of Patrick. See:

By Griffiths Valuation in 1863 there a Patrick Lundy farming there on plot 4 with a 10 acre farm; Peter on plot 21 with 23 acres and John Lundy on plot 45Ab which was an agricultural labourer’s cottage.  All may be related to your Patrick.

I looked at the 1901 census at they all appear to have gone:

However this probate abstract, from the PRONI wills site, indicates there was still at least 1 family in the townland in 1912:

Probate of the Will of Sarah Lundy late of Moneynabane County Down Spinster who died 7 October 1912 granted at Belfast to Arthur Lundy Farmer.

You don’t say what denomination your family were but judging by all the Lundy families in the Crossgar area they must have been RC. The baptism and marriage records for the RC parish of Dromara do not start till 1844 so you seem unlikely to be able to find Patrick’s baptism and family records from this source.

  • I have been researching this Patrick and Catherine Lundy as well. My father in law has lots of DNA matches who descend from them.

I believe Patrick and Catherine were the parents of Mary Lundy (1831-1903). Mary married William McAvoy and their daughter Bridget McAvoy married Edward McMullan.

I haven't directly made the link yet for Patrick and Catherine being Mary's parents but with so many different DNA matches coming from them I would say its extremely likely.

Patrick died on the 19 Feb 1873 in Mullinabane
