I am researching my ancestors James and Ellen. I believe the family emigrated in the 1840's to Boston. Eventually ended up in western massachusetts wher the family still resides. I have only one reference to kilworth but believe it to be accurate. All the immagrants maurice, patrick, johanna, timothy, john and ellen (mother) have been found except father james. Any information regarding this family will be greatly appreciated.

Likely James died in Ireland and before civil registration of deaths began in 1864. Here is a link to the parish register for Kilwoth for reference. http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0072 Records start in 1829.

A quick follow up.
The death record for Ellen Norris names Patrick and Julia Norris as parents.
At the time of her death (1864) her age is given as 75. Esrimate of her birth would then be 1789
