I am seeking an image of a gravestone for Alicia Kirby, died 1842 in Keely, Barony of Coleraine, Civil Parish Aghadowey, Poor Law Union Coleraine. Her probate index details are as follows:
Index : Pre-1858 Wills and Admons
Sub-Index : Prerogative Wills
Surname : Kirby
Forename : Alicia
Occupation :
Town or Townland : Keely
Parish :
County : Londonderry
Date : Probate 1842 Death 00/12/1842
Original Documents : The original documents referred to in this index DO NOT exist. No further information, other than that recorded above, has survived.
Since this is before civil registration and she was probably COI, I think an image of her gravestone isabout all I can expect. I I live in Australia so it's not quite feasible for me to come and take the picture myself. Would any kind person be able to look for it and take a picture if it exists?
Alicia had a husband who died before her, possibly in Dublin - Edward Kirby, an attorney and a son Edward who was COI curate in Drummaul, Randalstown. Thanks to a kind person in Randalstown I was able to see his gravestone, as well as those of other family members buried nearby.
Alicia (maiden surname name unknown) was previously married to someone with the surname Vipont. She appealed to the Chief Secretary for help in 1821 on the basis that her son John Vipont died while on military service in St Kitts and her husband Edward Kirby was ill and could not work.
Hoping this would not inconvenience the kind genealogist greatly
Regards

Hi Jenni
I have spoken to the Librarian in Coleraine and she checked their Graveyard Inspections but don't have a record for Alicia there so she suggested I contact the library in Derry and Ballymena - am awaiting a reply from them. They won't have a photo but may have the headstone transcription. Will let you know as soon as they get in touch
Best wishes

Hi Jenni
Linda the librarian has just been back to me. She was unable to find a Kirby mentioned. She has one more resource to check out and will mail me back. I attach what she sent me from Aghadowey, A Parish and its linen Industry by Rev. T.H. Mullin.
Best wishes

Hi again
No follow up news for you I'm afraid as the Librarian couldn't provide any further info on Alicia and couldn't locate any other record for her.
Sorry I couldn't be of greater assistance
