My name is Ed Dzialo. I am seeking information on my ancestors from Knockgraffon. My 3rd great grandfather, Edmond O'Donnell married Mary Harte. Edmond was born in the 1810's-1820's, the son of Martin O'Donnell and Margaret Tracy. Mary was born in the 1820's-1830's, the daughter of James Harte and Mary Burke. Mary's siblings were Edmond and Bridget Harte, possibly others.
Edmond and Mary arrived in the States in November, 1851. On a recently discovered naturalization certificate I learned they were from Knockgraffon, and only have the names as listed above.
Would appreciate any information you can provide.
Thank you,
Ed Dzialo

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
The RC parish for Knockgraffon is New Inn. Here is a link to the parish register http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0274 Records go back to 1820 for baptisms and 1798 for marriages. However, the records are not on Roots Ireland. Find My Past has indexed the RC parish registers but not all records show up because of legibility issues. I was not able to locate a marriage record on FMP. I suggest that you search the parish register for the marriage record. It is possible that the marriage occurred in a nearby parish depending on where Margaret lived.
The 1850 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Knockgraffon civil parish only shows one O'Donnell record-- a Walter O'Donnell in Marlhill townland.
You may want to consider autosomal DNA testing.
