My mother's father's grandparents came from Gort--John Kelly and Cicily Hynes from Newtown Regan, and Stephen Kerrigan and his unknown wife from Tierneevin. I look forward to hearing from anyone who may be related.

Thanks for that, Col! First entry could be a 2nd marriage for my Stephen, as he had children in the 1830s--Fergus, Michael, probably Mary, maybe more. Stephen, perhaps the one who married M. Noon, took out a reproductive loan in Galway city in 1846. By 1852 my Stephen was in Tierneevin, Kilmacduagh, by 1855 over the county line in Kilkeedy, Clare, and died within a few years. Could all be the same fellow, as the distances not great.
