I think I finally found where our family is from, Archerstown Donaghmore Meath Co. from the looks of the map its a golf course now, I was so close back in 1997. We are RC and the family I am trying to find probably left Ireland in 1850's, Laurence or Michael Bruton, Laurence may have been born about 1829 give or take 10 years. Michael married Margaret Killarney, had a daughter 1843 Anne Bruton. Well I hope somone might be able to help me. TY

The only Laurence Bruton on Roots Ireland from 1819-1839 is the 1837 record that Pat from St. Peters Louth found for you on a prior post. If that record is not correct then maybe the baptismal record for your Laurence is no longer available.

TY Roger yes I do have that link from Pat, like you mentioned I have no actual records for Laurence, I am now going to try to track down his brother Michael, I have more info on him, children, marriage, etc. I am thinking if I can find his parents I could at least know more about his brother Laurence, who know Laurence might be a middle name.....OK again thank you so much.
