I live in Keighley and have been researching local and family history in my area for over 50 years. oHello, I am searching the Limerick area for my ancestors named HIGGINS. I noticed that there are HIGGINS mentioned on this board and because I have not been able to find my 3x grandfather Wiliam Higgins possibly born about 1800 in Limerick I wonder if he was connected to the Tuam (Galway) HIGGINS? My Williams son, also William b. 1832-1837 left Ireland before 1854 when he married Sarah Stamp in Lincolnshire. William and Sarah spent thevrest of their lives raising their children in Rotherham Yorkshire. Any connection out there? Merry Christmas from Sylvia BC Canada.
