Dear Clare,
I just sent a reply to you but not sure if it went through. I wanted to say that the baptism you mention was in 1883. My Mom was born in 1892 to that couldn't have been her....unless there was mistake in the year when it was recorded. Thanks for your advice. I have contacted Roots and they are going to do a search for me. I think it best to have a professional check for me. They said they are bery busy at this time and it will take several weeks for a report. I'll let you know the results when they arrive.
Thank you for your interest and help.
Kind regards,
Alma

Thanks Alma - a birth year that is a few years "off" what is thought, is normal enough depending on how many years in the difference, usually 2 or 3 years is acceptable, possibly 5 at a push but after that it is questionable.
Let us know how you are getting on
Best wishes
Clare

Hello Claire,
Thanks for your reply. I have a professional geneologist who is going to do some research for me regarding my mother. It will take several weeks for a report as she said they are particularly busy at this time. I'll keep you informed. Thank you for your interest.
Do you live near Ballybricken, County Limerick?
Best regards,
Alma
