Hello,
I have located my great-grandparents, Anthony & Bridget (Grealey) Reilly in "Townylough." My first question is where can I find death records post-1925? The 1911 census lists the following details:
County Mayo; Parliamentary District South Mayo; Poorlaw Union Claremorris; District Electorial Division Kilcolman; Townland Townylough, Barony Claremorris (or Clanmorris); Constabulary District Castlebar; Sub District Balla
Anthony (b1877 to Thomas & Mary [Colgan] Reilly) and Bridget (b1870 to Pat & Bridget [Gill] Greally) were living in Townylough when their daughter Mary Anne Reilly listed them as her closest relative in Ireland on the passenger list to America in 1925. Beyond that I have found no mention of them.
Any direction would be appreciated! Thanks!
Christine

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
FinMyPast has civil death index records to 1958. I found a possible record for Bridget but not one for Anthony. Possibly his death was not registered or he died after 1958. You can get copies of records from the general Register Office for around 4 euros. If you want to get this record to see if it is your ancestor, let me know and I can provide instructions.

Thank you! Yes, I would like to request the record. Please let me know the most efficent way - it's my first attempt. :)
UPDATE: I just found the following burial plot: http://irishgraveyards.ie/plot.php?plotno=269&yardid=284§ion=A
Anthony died 1950 and Bridget in 1970 - Pure coincidence that I plugged Townylough into Google and it found this for me!

Hello, this is Karen McGuigan, daughter of Peter and Joan McGuigan. My grandmother was Catherine Reilly third daughter to Anthony and Bridget Reilly.
if you would like to be in touch, my email is caron@kdiebel.comMy grandmother Catherine, Reilly came to the United States in 1926 following Mary oldest daughter. My grandmother Catherine came through the port of New York, on the same ship that Bernard McGuigan came over years earlier. Catherine, Riley and Bernard McGuigan met at a dance and married years later in Chicago.
Mary returned to Ireland in 1947 becoming the wife of Patrick Joyce, and also lived in Mayo, but not in Balle Clare Morris is on the road toward Dublin. It’s the next city close to Balle
