My gg gf was John COYNE (convicted 1849 as John CAYNE), born c1834, Clifden, son of Martin COYNE and Mary WALSH, farmers of Clifden.
John had an older brother Thomas COYNE, born c1820. Thomas was convicted at Ennis.
Both John and Thomas COYNE were transported (separately) to Fremantle, Western Australia in the 1850s; they became successful farmers.
Have never been able to locate baptism information for these two men. Would also like to find marriage info for Martin Coyne and Mary Walsh.

Records for the RC parish of Ome/Clifden start in 1838 which is likely too late for your interests. Also, Coyne is a very common name in that area. The National Library of Ireland plans to place all RC parish registers online next Wednesday the 8th. Below are the records available. The parish is in the Diocese of Tuam.

I still live in hope that there were other children born to Martin and Mary COYNE between 1820 and 1834 - and that one day, descendants of these children will make contact with our family and we can share information.
