We will be visiting County Clare in September and, if possible, would like to know where my ancestors lived. My Great, Great Grandmother Hanorah McCormack was born in the parish of Parteen in County Clare in 1839. She possibly had one or two sisters and three brothers. Around 1860 she sailed to America with her parents John and Mary O'Neil McCormack and went to Nashville, Tennessee, where she married James J. Grady in 1862. She died in Basehor, Kansas, on 15 Jan 1895. Thank you for any information you can find

    No Bridget;

    Ballycalane (1841), Moneen (1844 & 1848)), Castle Park (1844), Castle Bank (1846), Blackwater (1848) are given for the family's address for the various births though in some it is blank.

    You might want to check the Irish Census 1851, Tithe Applotments & Griffiths Valuation (all free online) for John McCormack. I looked but didn't find any in the places above.

    I found the marriage record but of course it doesn't have John or Mary's parents' names!
