I am looking for my ancestors in Galway. Would like to know the dates and ship of immigration. Would like more family history, I'd like to find birth & marriage records for John Faherty & his father Morgan.
My name is Flaherty, but we believe the family name might have been Faherty in Ireland.

Notes and Comments:
* Came to America about 1890? ? just speculation
* Stephen carried Margaret off the ship because she did not have shoes.
* Bridget and Anne stayed in Galway (presume already married?)
* It may be that the children came to America, and then the parents (John & Margaret) followed later?
Morgan Faherty & Unknown <== Father of John Faherty
Morgan Faherty
b. about 1815 County Galway, Ireland
based on his son John being 25 when married in 1865
Notes and Comments:
* All that we know about Morgan is that he is listed as the father on his son’s marriage record in 1865.
